Legacy of Sin: Ill-Boding is a hybrid city-building and tower defense game that seamlessly blends massive real-time battles with turn-based management of your city and lands. Set in a Renaissance world devastated by a magical apocalypse, humanity's few remaining survivors retreat before the relentless onslaught of orcish hordes. The last kingdom rallies around Aldrick, a mercenary leader promoted to lord by the deaths of all the nobles he used to serve. At the head of the last bastion of humanity, it's his role to rally the survivors, defend against the hordes, and turn a sea of ruins into the heart of a new empire.
Hybrid Gameplay: Experience a seamless fusion of city-building, real-time tactics, and route defense, combining strategic depth with fast-paced action. Lead an army of soldiers fighting for survival, earning experience through victories to unlock powerful upgrades and specialized battlefield abilities. As both ruler and commander, balance defense, expansion, and resource management to keep the remnants of humanity alive and the flame of human civilization alight!
Fortress Management: Humanity's last hope starts out as little more than a collection of burned-out houses around a crumbling castle. Carefully rebuild the infrastructure, restart agriculture and industry to keep everyone fed and equipped, and turn a group of rag-tag survivors and shell-shocked mercenaries into a well-organized army to stop the orcish onslaught!
Branching Developments: Research, customizable loadouts, and limited resources mean tough choices. Do you prioritize expanding your city and fortress, defending it with expendable, cheap soldiers, risking that they would be overwhelmed by higher-level foes? This game represents the culmination of our vision for a strategy-driven, immersive experience that began with the first game in the series. Many of the ideas you’ll experience in Ill-Boding were conceived during the development of our earlier titles.
