You wake up near your car, on the outskirts of a desolate village nestled in a valley surrounded by towering mountains and a rushing river. As a determined reporter, you've come to uncover the truth behind the disturbing disappearances haunting this forsaken place. But the locals’ ominous warnings echo in your mind—this village is cursed, a relic of a dark past where witch burnings persisted until the late 1900s.
The village of Silverpine Creek has been abandoned for decades, shunned by the surrounding communities. They speak of Korana, a woman who was accused of witchcraft and sentenced to burn. The ritual went terribly wrong, or so the stories go. Korana vanished, her remains never found, and now it’s said she prowls the village, a vengeful spirit responsible for the recent vanishings.
When you wake, a dense fog encircles the village, trapping you in its sinister embrace. Your only way out is to complete the final ritual and banish Korana once and for all. But beware, Korana will stop at nothing to thwart your efforts.
Korana will try to make you scream through terrifying hallucinations or by confronting you herself. But beware—your surroundings can also betray your location. Stay calm, watch your steps, ayou have 6 Days to make it out. If you fail... you fail.
Navigate through the haunted village where every object is a potential hazard. Bumping into furniture or making noise could draw Korana's attention. The environment is physics-based, meaning even the slightest disturbance could spell doom. Solve intricate puzzles, collect ritual items, and master hidden tasks to advance. Each item you find brings you closer to the final ceremony on Witch Hill, but the journey is fraught with peril. Each item you discover must be taken to the burning place on Witch Hill, where collecting all six items will initiate the final ceremony, potentially providing a way out of this nightmare. However, the journey to gather these items is fraught with peril. The game features realistic graphics enhanced with a VHS found footage aesthetic, and the binaural audio design immerses you deeper into the haunting atmosphere.
