"Asura" is a new Japanese drama series created by Kuniko Mukoda. The show is a remake of the 1979 show "Asura no Gotoku", and it stars Rie Miyazawa, Machiko Ono, Yu Aoi, Suzu Hirose, Masahiro Motoki, Ryuhei Matsuda, Kisetsu Fujiwara, Seiyo Uchino, Jun Kunimura and Keiko Matsuzaka. The series premiered on January 9, 2025 on Netflix.
