"Out of My Mind"" is a coming-of-age drama directed by Amber Sealey ("No Man of God") from a script by Daniel Stiepleman ("On the Basis of Sex") based on the 2010 novel of the same name by Sharon M. Draper. The film stars Phoebe-Rae Taylor, Rosemarie DeWitt, Luke Kirby, Judith Light and Jennifer Aniston. "Out of My Mind" premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and was released on November 22, 2024 via Disney+.

"Melody Brooks, a sixth grader with cerebral palsy, has a quick wit and a sharp mind, but because she is non-verbal and uses a wheelchair, she is not given the same opportunities as her classmates. When a young educator notices her student’s untapped potential and Melody starts to participate in mainstream education, Melody shows that what she has to say is more important than how she says it."
