"White Bird" is a coming-of-age period drama directed by Marc Forster ("A Man Called Otto", "Finding Neverland") from a script by Mark Bomback ("Dawn of the Planet of the Apes") based on the 2019 graphic novel of the same name by R.J. Palacio. The film is a prequel and sequel to the 2017 film "Wonder", and it stars Ariella Glaser, Orlando Schwerdt, Bryce Gheisar, Gillian Anderson and Helen Mirren. The film opened in theaters on October 4, 2024.
