"Poppa's House" is a new sitcom created by Damon Wayans Sr., Damon Wayans Jr. and Kevin Hench. Wayans and his son star together in the show alongside Essence Atkins and Tetona Jackson. The series is set to premiere on October 21, 2024 on CBS.

"Poppa's House, starring Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr., features Wayans as legendary talk radio host and happily divorced "Poppa" who has his point of view challenged at work when Ivy (Essence Atkins), a new female co-host, is hired, and at home where he finds himself still parenting his adult son, Junior, a brilliant dreamer who is trying to pursue his passion while being a responsible father and husband to Nina (Tetona Jackson)."
