"Joan" is a six-part British crime drama miniseries created by Anna Symon based on the biography "I Am What I Am: The True Story of Britain's Most Notorious Jewel Thief". Inspired by a true story and set in the 1980s, the show stars Sophie Turner as Joan Hannington, a figure known as "the Godmother" in London's criminal underworld in the 1980s. The cast also includes Frank Dillane, Mia Millichamp, Kirsty J. Curtis and Laura Aikman. The show premiered in the UK on ITV1 and on its streaming service ITVX on September 29, 2024. It is set to air in the US on The CW on October 2nd.
