"The Wild Robot" is a sci-fi animated film written and directed by Chris Sanders ("Lilo & Stitch", "How to Train Your Dragon") based on the book series of the same name by Peter Brown. This is the final film to be animated entirely in-house at DreamWorks, as the studio would begin relying heavily on outside vendors after 2024.

The voice cast includes Lupita Nyong'o, Pedro Pascal, Kit Connor, Bill Nighy, Stephanie Hsu, Mark Hamill, Catherine O'Hara, Matt Berry and Ving Rhames. "The Wild Robot" premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, and was released in theaters on September 27, 2024.
