"Those About to Die" is an Ancient Rome gladiator action series created by Robert Rodat ("Saving Private Ryan") and directed by Roland Emmerich ("Independence Day", "The Day After Tomorrow") and Marco Kreuzpaintner. The cast includes Anthony Hopkins, Dimitri Leonidas, Jojo Macari, Gabriella Pession, Iwan Rheon and Sara Martins-Court. The show premieres on July 18, 2024 on Peacock in the US, and internationally on July 19th via Amazon Prime Video.
