"Knuckles" is a six-episode live-action limited series created by John Whittington and Toby Ascher based on the "Sonic the Hedgehog" video game series and a spin-off of the film series. The voice cast includes Idris Elba, Adam Pally, Cary Elwes, Edi Patterson, Stockard Channing, Julian Barratt, Rory McCann, Scott Mescudi and Ellie Taylor. Guest stars include Tika Sumpter, Ben Schwartz as Sonic, Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Tails, and Christopher Lloyd. The miniseries premiered on April 26, 2024 on Paramount+.

"The new live-action series will follow Knuckles (Idris Elba) on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade (Adam Pally) as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior. The series takes place between the films SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 and SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3."
