"The Long Shadow" is a seven-part British true crime miniseries written by George Kay ("Hijack", "Litvinenko") and directed by Lewis Arnold. The series details the five-year manhunt for the serial killer Peter Sutcliffe, commonly referred to as the Yorkshire Ripper. The cast includes Toby Jones, David Morrissey, Daniel Mays, Katherine Kelly, Jack Dream, Chloe Harris and Steven Waddington. The series aired on ITV1 on September 25, 2023 in the UK, and on Sundance Now/AMC+
