Gameplay-wise, The Silent Swan is a relaxed and slow first-person narrative experience that combines the open levels formula with mechanics of a walking simulator.
The massive overworld defined by the walls have sparsely located urban areas to them. These urban areas are all connected by landbridges—terrestrial bridges rising above the ground—which the player navigates on quicycles.
The levels themselves are megalithic urban areas, much larger and expansive than there is any need for, which the player will cross following different objectives, as the story gradually unravels around them.
Traverse through awe-inspiring, desolate landscapes - Great cities and structures that rise through the mist and tear the skies of landscapes never seen before.
A narrative twist - Observe your surroundings and let the scenery guide you through a vast terrain, where you will have letters and narrative threads to track through exploration.
