"Flora and Son" is a musical dramedy written and directed by John Carney ("Once", "Begin Again", "Sing Street"). The cast includes Eve Hewson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Oren Kinlan, Jack Reynor, Sophie Vavasseur and Kelly Thornton. The film premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, received a limited release in theaters on September 22, 2023, and a streaming release on Apple TV+ on September 29, 2023.

"Single mom Flora (Eve Hewson) is at a loss about what to do with her rebellious teenage son, Max (Orén Kinlan). Encouraged by the police to find Max a hobby, Flora tries to occupy him with a beat-up acoustic guitar. With the help of a washed-up LA musician (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Flora and Max discover the transformative power of music.
