"Blue Beetle" is a superhero movie directed by Angel Manuel Soto from a script by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer based on the DC Comics character of the same name. This is the 14th installment in the DC Extended Universe. The cast includes Xolo Mariduena, Bruna Marquezine, Adriana Barraza, Damián Alcázar, Raoul Max Trujillo, Susan Sarandon and George Lopez. The film opened in theaters on August 15, 2023.

"Recent college grad Jaime Reyes returns home full of aspirations for his future, only to find that home is not quite as he left it.
