"Love & Death" is a crime drama miniseries directed by Lesli Linka Glatter ("Mad Men", "Homeland") from a script by David E. Kelley ("Big Little Lies") based on the true story of housewife Candy Montgomery, who was accused of the brutal axe murder of her friend Betty Gore in 1980. The story was previously adapted into the 2022 miniseries "Candy" starring Jessica Biel. The cast includes Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons, Lily Rabe, Patrick Fugit, Krysten Ritter, Tom Pelphrey, Elizabeth Marvel and Keir Gilchrist. The series premiered on April 27, 2023 on HBO Max.
