"The Amazing Maurice" is an animated film directed by Toby Genkel and Florian Westermann from a script by Terry Rossio ("Aladdin", "Shrek", "Pirates of the Caribbean") based on the 2001 novel "The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents" by Terry Pratchett. The voice cast includes Hugh Laurie, Emilia Clarke, David Thewlis, Himesh Patel, Gemma Arterton, Joe Sugg, Ariyon Bakare, Julie Atherton, Rob Brydon, Hugh Bonneville and David Tennant. The film opened in theaters on December 16, 2022 in the UK, and on February 3, 2023 in the US.
