"The Whale" is a psychological drama directed by Darren Aronofsky ("The Wrestler", "Black Swan") from a script by Samuel D. Hunter based on his 2012 play of the same name. The cast features Brendan Fraser, Sadie Sink, Hong Chau, Ty Simpkins and Samantha Morton. The film premiered at the 79th Venice International Film Festival and opened in theaters nationwide on December 21, 2022.
