Written by the comedian himself under the pseudonym Mahatma Kane Jeeves and directed by Edward F. Cline (Fields’ partner-in-gags on My Little Chickadee and Never Give a Sucker an Even Break), The Bank Dick is one of the great classics of American comedy!
