"The Starling" is a dramedy directed by Theodore Melfi ("Hidden Figures", "St. Vincent") from a script by Matt Harris. The cast includes Melissa McCarthy, Chris O'Dowd, Timothy Olyphant, Daveed Diggs, Skyler Gisondo, Laura Harrier, Rosalind Chao, Loretta Devine, and Kevin Kline. The film premiered at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival, was releasd in select theaters on September 17, 2021, and then via streaming on September 24, 2021 on Netlix.
