"Jolt" is an action comedy directed by Tanya Wexler ("Hysteria") from a script by Scott Wascha.

The film stars Kate Beckinsale as a woman with a rare neurological disorder that makes her experience sporadic rage-filled, murderous impulses that can only be stopped when she shocks herself with a special electrode device. After a man she fell in love with is murdered, she embarks on a revenge-filled mission to find his killer, while also being pursued by the police as their prime suspect. Jai Courtney, Stanley Tucci, Bobby Cannavale, Susan Sarandon and Laverne Cox co-star.

"Jolt" premiered on July 23, 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.
