Product Description: Freddie de Tommaso is the thrilling young tenor with the `bombshell' voice, recently signed to Decca Classics. His debut album pays homage to his great hero Franco Corelli, born a century ago in Ancona, Italy. He also pays tribute to the centenary births of Mario Lanza and Giuseppe Di Stefano, as well as the death of the father of all modern tenors, Enrico Caruso. De Tommaso's album celebrates the songs they made famous and explores the musical landscape of his father's family from Casamassima.
