The second season of the Italian coming-of-age drama series "My Brilliant Friend" has premiered on February 10, 2020 on Rai 1 and on March 26, 2020 on HBO. The new season, which is titled "My Brilliant Friend: The Story of a New Name", is based on the second novel in Elena Ferrante's "Neapolitan Novels" series. Created by Saverio Costanzo, the series stars Margherita Mazzucco, Gaia Girace, Annarita Vitolo and Giovanni Amura .
