Set in Chicago on Christmas Eve, it follows his day from morning till midnight as he encounters a variety of characters who help renew his belief in a season where everyone's expectations run high. Originally broadcast in 1994 on Lifetime Television as Solstice: A Christmas Story, this evergreen holiday drama was written, produced and directed by Chicago filmmaker Jerry Vasilatos. This special 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Restoration presents the film restored in 2K from its original camera negative elements with an award-winning new orchestral score composed by Balint Sapszon and performed by the Budapest Scoring Orchestra. Newly produced Special Features include 188 minutes of bonus content with 6 newly produced behind the scenes programs, commentary tracks and foreign subtitles in French, German, Greek, Russian and Spanish.
