Product Description: Robert Redford stars as The Great Waldo Pepper, a young pilot back from World War I, barnstorming his way across the Midwest. Taking on rival after rival, Waldo meets his match in Axel, an air-show promoter. Together, with acrobatic Mary Beth, they take air showmanship to great heights. Eventually landing in Hollywood as a stunt pilot, Waldo finally meets up with the legendary German pilot Ernst Kessler leading to a climatic airborne fight to the finish. Directed by George Roy Hill, The Great Waldo Pepper is a high-flying adventure that showcases the pioneering days of aviation.
