Pure Flix's "Unplanned" is a faith-based drama written and directed by Chuck Konzelman & Cary Solomon ("God's Not Dead", "Do You Believe?") based on Abby Johnson's memoir of the same name.

The film tells the true story of Abby Johnson (played by Ashley Bratcher), a spokesperson for Planned Parenthood, who went through a life-changing experience that led her to become a pro-life activist. Brooks Ryan, Robia Scott, Jared Lotz, Emma Elle Roberts and Robin DeMarco co-star.

This is the first R-rated film from Pure Flix (for some disturbing/bloody images). Given the controversial subject, the film's release stirred some controversy, and most TV channels (including Lifetime, Hallmark and HGTV) refused to air ads for the film.

"Unplanned" opened in theaters on March 29, 2019 and received mixed reviews from critics (50% on Rotten Tomatoes).
