"Captain Marvel" is about to get a run for its money as Jordan Peele's new psychological horror film "Us" has been released in theaters and it's already a massive success. Peele's new film has brought in a massive $7.4 million from Thursday night previews in 3,510 theaters, which means "Us" could easily top $60 million in its opening weekend. Also, Sebastián Lelio's romantic dramedy "Gloria Bell" starring Julianne Moore and John Turturro has expanded nationwide.

Limited releases are the place to go for a change of pace, and this week we have the fact-based action thriller "Hotel Mumbai" starring Dev Patel and Armie Hammer, the martial arts action film "Triple Threat" starring Iko Uwais, Tony Jaa and Scott Adkins, and the re-release of the popular 1999 soapy teen drama "Cruel Intentions".

Synopses, details, critical/audience reception, trailers, and more after the jump.
