The animated sequel "The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part" is now in theaters and will probably lead the weekend box-office. The film has already brought in $2.1 million from Thursday night previews, which puts it on track for a $50+ million debut.

Liam Neeson is back in full vigilante mode for the darkly comic thriller "Cold Pursuit", a remake of the 2014 Norwegian film "In Order of Disappearance". Both films are directed by Hans Petter Moland. The U.S. version also stars Tom Bateman, Laura Dern, William Forsythe and Emmy Rossum.

If you're looking for something a bit scarier, you could give "The Prodigy" a try. The film is a supernatural possession horror directed by Nicholas McCarthy, who is known for some less impressive horror flicks like "The Pact" and "At the Devil's Door", and it stars Taylor Schilling ("Orange is the New Black") and Jackson Robert Scott ("It").

The last of the new wide releases is the comedy remake "What Men Want", which is based on the 2000 film "What Women Want" starring Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt. The new version is directed by Adam Shankman ("Bringing Down the House"), and it stars Taraji P. Henson and Tracy Morgan.

Synopses, details, critical/audience reception, trailers, and more after the jump.
