"Anna and the Apocalypse" is a horror musical directed by John McPhail ("Where Do We Go From Here?") from a script by Alan McDonald and Ryan McHenry based on the latter's BAFTA-winning 2011 short "Zombie Musical". The film is set on Christmas in the sleepy town of Little Haven and it follows Anna (Ella Hunt) and her friends as they fight, slash and sing their way to survival when a zombie apocalypse breaks out.

The film also stars Malcolm Cumming, Sarah Swire, Ben Wiggins, Christopher Leveaux, Marli Siu, Mark Benton and Paul Kaye.

"Anna and the Apocalypse" premiered at the 2017 Fantastic Fest and received a limited release in theaters in the U.S. on November 30, 2018. The film will expand nationwide on December 7th.

"A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven -- at Christmas -- forcing Anna and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other..."
