THE FLASH Season 5 Trailers, Clip, Images and Posters

The DC Comics series "The Flash" returns for its fifth season today, October 9, 2018 on The CW at 8p. The new 22-episode season will follow Barry Allen aka The Flash (Grant Gustin), a police forensic scientist endowed with superhuman speed, as he deals with the consequences of his future daughter's time traveling, while also fighting crime alongside fellow metahumans. The fifth season's main villain is Cicada, played by Chris Klein.

The cast also includes Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet, Hartley Sawyer and Jessica Parker Kennedy. The new season will include an "Arrow" crossover that will feature Batwoman and Gotham City, which will air in December 2018, followed by a possible solo series for the character.

Barry Allen, bestowing him with super-human speed. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won’t be long before the world learns that Barry Allen has become...The Flash."
