"Ozark" is a new crime drama series created by "The Accountant" writer Bill Dubuque, that stars Jason Bateman as a financial advisor who secretly relocates his family from Chicago to Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri in order to escape a drug lord (Esai Morales) after a money-laundering scheme he was involved in goes wrong.

The series also stars Laura Linney, Sofia Hublitz, Julia Garner, McKinley Belcher III and Michael Mosley. Bateman directed the season's first two and last episodes.

"Ozark" received mostly positive reviews, with Bateman's performance being highlighted by many critics. The entire first season was released via Netflix on July 21st, 2017.
