"Hidden Figures" is a biopic that tells the untold story of Katherine G. Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe), three brilliant African-American women working at NASA who served as the brains behind the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, providing important mathematical data needed to launch the program's first successful space missions.
Co-written and directed by Theodore Melfi ("St. Vincent"), the film also stars Kevin Costner, Kirsten Dunst, Jim Parsons, Mahershala Ali and Aldis Hodge.
"Hidden Figures" opens in theaters on December 25th.
