Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for writer/director Christopher Nolan's World War II action-thriller "Dunkirk". The film chronicles the evacuation of Dunkirk as British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. The operation that unfolded saved 330,000 lives. Nolan shot the film entirely on IMAX 65mm film and 65mm large-format. The cast features Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Kenneth Branagh, Aneurin Barnard, Mark Rylance, James D'Arcy, Jack Lowden, Barry Keoghan, Tom Glynn-Carney and Harry Styles.
"Dunkirk" opens in theaters on July 21, 2017.
