Today we have the official trailer, images and posters for the sci-fi drama "High-Rise". Directed by Ben Wheatley ("Kill List") and based on J.G. Ballard's novel of the same name, the film tells the story of a group of residents of a tower block organized according to social status from bottom to top. All hell breaks loose when the power structure unexpectedly changes and the lower residents seek to reach the top levels. The situation quickly degenerates into violence.

Tom Hiddleston stars as Robert Laing, a young doctor seduced by the luxurious high-rise lifestyle, and Jeremy Irons plays the tower's creator, the architect Anthony Royal. Sienna Miller, Luke Evans, Elisabeth Moss, James Purefoy and Sienna Guillory co-star.

"High-Rise" is set to open in the U.K. on March 18th.

Official Synopsis
"The new film from acclaimed director Ben Wheatley in UK cinemas March 18th. Adapted from J.G. Ballard’s visionary novel by screenwriter Amy Jump, HIGH – RISE stars Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Irons, Sienna Miller, Luke Evans, Elisabeth Moss. 1975. Two miles west of London, Dr. Robert Laing moves into his new apartment seeking soulless anonymity, only to find that the building’s residents have no intention of leaving him alone. Resigned to the complex social dynamics unfolding around him, Laing bites the bullet and becomes neighbourly. As he struggles to establish his position, Laing’s good manners and sanity disintegrate along with the building. The lights go out and the lifts fail but the party goes on. People are the problem. Booze is the currency. Sex is the panacea. Only much later, as he sits on his balcony eating the architect’s dog, does Dr. Robert Laing finally feel at home….."
