3 New Clips and Featurette for SERENA Starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper

New clips and featurette for Serena starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper

"Serena" is another one of those strange Hollywood misfires. They have the cast, they have a strong story, but it just doesn't come together like it should. The film was actually shot in 2012, but it was shelved for another two years before finally surfacing last year. Today, the movie finally receives a limited release in the U.S. To mark the occasion, we have three new clips and a making-of featurette. Critics have not been kind to the movie, but it's really no surprise. Who in their right mind would have shelved a great movie for two years ? Directed by Susanne Bier (the original "Brothers"), the film also stars Rhys Ifans, Toby Jones, Sean Harris, Ana Ularu and Sam Reid.

Watch the clips and featurette after the jump.

Official Synopsis
"North Carolina mountains at the end of the 1920s – George and Serena Pemberton, love-struck newly-weds, begin to build a timber empire. Serena soon proves herself to be equal to any man: overseeing loggers, hunting rattle-snakes, even saving a man’s life in the wilderness. With power and influence now in their hands, the Pembertons refuse to let anyone stand in the way of their inflated love and ambitions. However, once Serena discovers George’s hidden past and faces an unchangeable fate of her own, the Pemberton’s passionate marriage begins to unravel leading toward a dramatic reckoning.

Reuniting Academy Award Winner Jennifer Lawrence and Academy Award Nominee Bradley Cooper on screen, SERENA boasts an incredible supporting cast in Sam Reid, Rhys Ifans, Toby Jones and Sean Harris."
