The first trailer and poster for the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" reboot have been released. The film is produced by Michael Bay ("Transformers") and directed by Jonathan Liebesman ("Battle: Los Angeles"). This is just a teaser, so it contains only a few quick shots of the iconic Turtles, Megan Fox as reporter April O'Neil, and a voice-over monologue by William Fichtner's Shredder, the film's villain. Nothing about the plot, yet, except that we get a hint of the Turtles' origin story. The film's mutant heroes are created using motion-capture and the scene at the end of the trailer looks pretty good, but some of the CGI in the snow scene looks really muddled. Maybe it's just work-in-progress VFX. And, of course, a building collapses. No action movie is complete without one of those.
The film also stars Alan Ritchson, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, Noel Fisher, Danny Woodburn, Will Arnett and Whoopi Goldberg.

Official Synopsis
"The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan."
