Jennifer Aniston in Early Talks for 'MEAN MOMS'

Jennifer Aniston is in early talks to star in the comedy "Mean Moms", an adaptation of a book written by Rosalind Wiseman. The book deals with competitive parenting in the suburbs and the film's story would follow "a happily married mother of two who moves from a small town to the high class suburbs where she is faced with confronting the cutthroat world of competitive parenting." The film has not yet been greenlit, so it's still a long way from being a sure thing, Another one of Wiseman's books, "Queen Bees and Wannabes: Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Gossip, Boyfriends, and Other Realities of Adolescence" was the basis of another hit comedy, "Mean Girls".

Jai Courtney Joins 'TERMINATOR: GENESIS'

Jai Courtney ("A Good Day to Die Hard") has been cast as Kyle Reese in the upcoming "Terminator" movie. The film is a reboot and it will be titled "Terminator: Genesis", but no plot details have been revealed. The film's cast already includes Jason Clarke ("Zero Dark Thirty") as John Connor, Emilia Clarke ("Game of Thrones") as Sarah Connor and Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator. The film is intended to become the first in a new trilogy. Filming will begin this year and the release date has been set for July 1, 2015.

Will Smith in Early Talks for Sci-Fi Thriller 'BRILLIANCE'

Will Smith ("Men in Black") is currently in early negotiations for the lead role in the sci-fi thriller "Brilliance". The film is based on Marcus Sakey's novel which takes place in a world where one percent of the world's population is born with supernatural abilities. These people are called "brilliants". Smith would play a federal agent, Cooper who uses his gifts to track down dangerous terrorists, but one in particular, another "brilliant" drenched in blood and intent on provoking a civil war, will put his skills to the test. The adaptation has been penned by David Koepp ("Jurassic Park", "Spider-Man") and Julius Onah ("God Particle") has been hired to direct.

Elodie Yung Joins Alex Proyas' 'GODS OF EGYPT'

Elodie Yung ("G.I. Joe: Retaliation") has joined the cast of the fantasy adventure "Gods of Egypt". Co-written and directed by Alex Proyas ("The Crow", "Dark City"), the film tells the story of a common thief who joins a mythical god on a quest through Egypt. Gerard Butler ("Olympus Has Fallen") has been cast as Set, the god of darkness, and the thief will be played by Brenton Thwaites ("The Giver"). Elodie Yung will play the goddess Hathor, the personification of joy, feminine love and motherhood. The cast also features Geoffrey Rush, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Chadwick Boseman and Courtney Eaton. "Gods of Egypt" opens in theaters February 12, 2016.

Brie Larson in Talks for Judd Apatow's 'TRAINWRECK'

Brie Larson ("Short Term 12", "21 Jump Street") is currently in talks for a supporting role in Judd Apatow's new comedy "Trainwreck". The film will star Amy Schumer and Bill Hader. Apatow will direct the film from a script written by Schumer. Plot details are kept under wraps, but some details have surfaced online. Amy Schumer will star as "a basket case who tries to rebuild her life, but still to be found are her boyfriend, a best friend/co-worker and a parent". Apatow will also produce for his company Apatow Productions. "Trainwreck" will open in theaters on July 24, 2015.
