Once again, Marvel has released a wealth of promotional material for their upcoming epic film Thor: The Dark World. Two new clips offer a romantic reunion for Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Jane (Natalie Portman) and an epic battle scene. A new featurette further explains the plot and character motivations, and a complete 15-minute B-Roll provides a great look at how the whole thing was done and all the hard work that went into making it.
In this sequel, Thor battles an ancient race of Dark Elves led by the vengeful Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) who threatens to plunge the universe back into darkness after the events of The Avengers. The film also stars Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, Idris Elba, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins. Directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones), Thor: The Dark World opens on November 8, 2013.
