New Featurettes: THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE, AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN

Watch the behind-the-scenes featurettes and read the official synopses after the jump. Here is a short description of the videos:

  • "IMAX - Behind the Frame" - A featurette detailing the use of the IMAX format in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire". The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Stanley Tucci, Jeffrey Wright and Amanda Plummer. Opens on November 22nd.

  • "Inside the Coven" - An exclusive featurette for the TV series "American Horror Story: Coven" that presents the truth and misconceptions of New Orleans Voodoo. The series stars Jessica Lange, Taissa Farmiga, Emma Roberts, Denis O’Hare, Alexandra Breckenridge, Patti LuPone, Gabourey Sidibe, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Frances Conroy and Lily Rabe. "American Horror Story: Coven" will premiere on October 9th.

"THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever."




AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN

"American Horror Story: Coven tells the secret history of witches and witchcraft in America. Over 300 years have passed since the turbulent days of the Salem witch trials and those who managed to escape are now facing extinction. Mysterious attacks have been escalating against their kind and young girls are being sent away to a special school in New Orleans to learn how to protect themselves. Wrapped up in the turmoil is new arrival, Zoe (Taissa Farmiga), who is harboring a terrifying secret of her own. Alarmed by the recent aggression, Fiona (Jessica Lange), the long-absent Supreme, sweeps back into town, determined to protect the Coven and hell-bent on decimating anyone who gets in her way."
