STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS Clips, 3D Trailer, Featurettes and TV Spots

Star Trek Into Darkness 3D Trailer

A wealth of new "Star Trek Into Darkness" material has been released in the past couple of days. We now have two new movie clips, a 3D version of the theatrical trailer, two new behind-the-scenes featurettes and several TV spots. The sequel is directed by J.J. Abrams ("Super 8", "Lost") and stars Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto, Benedict Cumberbatch, Karl Urban, Alice Eve, Simon Pegg, Peter Weller, Anton Yelchin and John Cho. Already the buzz is building and early reviews speak in praises of the film, although the consensus seems to be that it hasn't found any new depths to explore, and despite being just as good as the first film, it does have its own share of faults which need fixing in future sequels. But, overall it's awesome and fun and one of the better blockbusters of 2013. The release dates are May 15, 2013 (IMAX 3D) and May 17, 2013 (2D and 3D).

Watch everything after the jump.
