The domestic trailer and poster for Edgar Wright's comedy "The World's End" have been released. As you may or may not know, the story of the film focuses on five childhood friends who return to their hometown for an epic bar crawl but it's not just the massive amounts of alcohol that they need to worry about. An alien menace stands between them and the perfect hangover and while the first trailer kept the mystery intact, this trailer makes it clear that killer robots have invaded the town. "The World's End" stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Eddie Marsan, Paddy Considine, Martin Freeman and Rosamund Pike. The release dates are August 14th for the UK and October 25th for the US.

Official Synopsis
"20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub – The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries."
