We have the first trailer and a teaser poster for Paul Greengrass' thriller "Captain Phillips" starring Tom Hanks. The film is the true story of captain Richard Phillips (Hanks) and the 2009 hijacking by Somali pirates of the US-flagged MV Maersk Alabama. Phillips allowed himself to be taken hostage in exchange for the safety of his crew. The trailer makes the film look like an adrenaline-fueled ride, but knowing Greengrass I suspect there won't be any cheap thrills, but plenty of pure visceral tension. "Captain Phillips" opens on October 11, 2013.
