The theatrical trailer and poster for M. Night Shyamalan's sci-fi adventure "After Earth" are now online. The film stars Will Smith and his son, Jaden Smith, as a father and his son, who end up stranded on Earth, 1000 years after humanity was forced to abandon the planet. Now they are forced to survive all kinds of dangerous creatures and find a way to return home. So far I'm not very enthusiastic about the film, mainly because Shyamalan has a bad track record, most of his recent films being incredibly uneven and horribly paced. "After Earth" will either be an absorbing survival adventure with great visuals, or a terrible waste of great visuals on a silly plot which involves Jaden Smith figting CGI animals. We'll all find out on June 7, 2013.
Watch the trailer after the jump.
