Five new TV Spots for the sci-fi thriller "Dark Skies" starring Keri Russell and Josh Hamilton have been released. The film tells the story of a family whose peaceful life is disturbed dramatically by a series of unusual events orchestrated by a deadly force. In case you're wondering, the "deadly force" doing all the scary stuff is actually aliens. Their agenda is unclear, apart from scaring everyone, but I suppose everything will be revealed in a spectacularly unexpected/silly twist ending. In fact, if you freeze-frame towards the end of the first clip, you can actually see the alien creatures in the dark behind Keri Russell. The film is produced by the team behind "Paranormal Activity" and "Insidious", so it's only a self-ripoff, and it's directed by Scott Charles Stewart who is infamous for the box-office bomb "Priest".

Official Synopsis
"From the producers of Paranormal Activity, Insidious, and Sinister comes Dark Skies: a supernatural thriller that follows a young family living in the suburbs. As husband and wife Daniel (Josh Hamilton) and Lacey Barret (Keri Russell) witness an escalating series of disturbing events involving their family, their safe and peaceful home quickly unravels. When it becomes clear that the Barret family is being targeted by an unimaginably terrifying and deadly force, Daniel and Lacey take matters in their own hands to solve the mystery of what is after their family."
