In Theaters : GONE (2012)

Official Synopsis : In the new suspense thriller Gone, Jill Parrish (Amanda Seyfried) comes home from a night shift to discover her sister Molly has been abducted. Jill, who had escaped from a kidnapper a year before, is convinced that the same serial killer has come back for her sister. Afraid that Molly will be dead by sundown, Jill embarks on a heart-pounding chase to find the killer, expose his secrets and save her sister.

Genre: Thriller

Critical Response : Negative. Not screened for critics, same as Tyler Perry's Good Deeds", this Amanda Seyfried starrer easily ranks among the worst of the year so far, according to critics. It's yet another movie that won't help Seyfried's career. "Gone" strains credibility and despite an interesting visual style it manages to remain uninteresting throughout. Rated 16% on Rottentomatoes.com from 4 positive and 21 negative reviews (Average score: 3.5 out of 10).
