What to Expect : One of the biggest flops of 2011, this overly-ambitious comic book adaptation failed on pretty much every level, except the visual effects. "Green Lantern" is infamous for the obscene amounts of money poured into fixing the visual effects which were heavily criticized for their unrealistic look when Warner Bros. first released footage from the film. While the end result looks a lot better, it's too bad Warner didn't spend more money on a real script, because what we get is nothing but an overblown action extravaganza that has so much CGI in it, it could run for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars. Strictly for fans.
