What to Expect : Old fashioned 2D animated feature, a big screen entry in the Pooh franchise, one of Disney's great classics. Wonderful animation and enchanting storytelling make this one an important cinematic event in a summer of overblown blockbusters.

Critical Response : Positive. Critics were mesmerized by the classic animation and its simplicity. Charming, sweet and lovable were the most commonly used words to describe the movie, which scored an 89% rating on Rottentomatoes.com from 67 positive and 8 negative reviews.
