The James Cameron produced 3D adventure about a caving expedition gone wrong is now released on DVD, Blu-Ray and a 3D Two-Disc Combo Edition. The hype unfortunately doesn't match what the movie has to offer. The script is full of cliches and cheesy dialogue and the worst thing is that the action/adventure elements are just as disappointing. The 3D is deeply flawed, since the movie takes pace inside an endless system of caves, which means everything is really dark. Honestly, a far better caving movie was "The Descent", although that movie was really about people getting eaten alive by humanoid creatures. To read the review, click here.
