New on DVD/Blu-Ray - DRIVE ANGRY 3D

Patrick Lussier has directed such gory schlock fests as "My Bloody Valentine 3D" and "Dracula 2000", and "Drive Angry" is just the same kind of instant trash that B-flick connoisseurs will absolutely love. It's no surprise that Nic Cage is involved in this one, as his recent body of work reflects some rather odd choices. Still, it's not as bad as "Season of the Witch", or "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". At least this one's fun. Dirty, grimy, offensive fun, but fun nonetheless. If only they had a decent budget to get some better CGI visual effects for some of the action scenes (like the Hydrogen truck crash). Here's another little tidbit, Patrick Lussier will also direct "Halloween 3", after Rob Zombie left the project. Available as DVD, Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray.

DVD Special Features :
  • How To: Drive Angry
  • Milton's Mayhem (bodycount)
  • Audio Commentary with Filmmakers Patrick Lussier & Todd Farmer
  • Deleted Scenes with Filmmaker Commentary

Blu-Ray Special Features :
  • [same as the DVD]
  • Dynamic scene specific features, including interviews with cast and filmmakers.
  • The 3D Blu-Ray contains two discs, the first contains only the 3D Movie, while the second disc contains the 2D Blu-Ray with all bonus features (in 2D of course).

Product Description : In the high-octane, action-adventure DRIVE ANGRY, Nicolas Cage stars as an undead felon who breaks out of hell to avenge his murdered daughter and rescue her kidnapped baby from a band of cult-worshipping savages. Joined by tough-as-nails Piper (Amber Heard), the two set off on a rampage of redemption, all while being pursued by an enigmatic killer (William Fichtner) who has been sent by the Devil to retrieve Milton and deliver him back to hell.
