Synopsis : A young, teenage surfer girl summons the courage to go back into the ocean after losing an arm in a shark attack.
What to Expect : Tearjerking melodrama based on an inspirational true story. Sounds like a mouthful, but it's actually pretty basic. It's quite a unique story, worth hearing about, or reading about, but not exactly very unique as a cinematic project, because, well, writers and directors tend to apply the same shapes and sizes to these stories. So while the source material is inspirational, the movie itself might end up being less inspiring. Still, since they went through the trouble of making it, I suppose you might as well try it out. Or you just might choose to catch it on TV.
