Movie Trailers: THE OUTPOST, FOUR KIDS AND IT, DIRT MUSIC and More

Today we have new trailers for:
  • The military action drama "The Outpost" starring Scott Eastwood, Orlando Bloow and Caleb Landry Jones. The film is based on The New York Times best-selling non-fiction book "The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor" from CNN's Jake Tapper
  • The kid-friendly fantasy-adventure "Four Kids and It" based on Jacqueline Wilson's novel of the same name. The cast features Michael Caine, Russell Brand, Matthew Goode and Paula Patton.
  • The Australian romantic drama "Dirt Music" starring Kelly MacDonald, Garrett Hedlund and David Wehnam, which is based on the critically acclaimed novel of the same name by renowned Australian writer Tim Winton.
  • The drama "Miss Juneteenth" directed by Channing Godfrey Peoples ("Queen Sugar"). The cast includes Nicole Beharie, Alexis Chikaeze, Kendrick Sampson and Lori Hayes.
  • The Indonesian superhero movie "Gundala" written and directed by Joko Anwar
  • The documentary "You Don't Nomi" that explores the cult following of Paul Verhoeven's 1995 film "Showgirls".

The Outpost (July 3, 2020 - in theaters and on VOD)

Starring: Scott Eastwood, Caleb Landry Jones, Orlando Bloom, Jack Kesy, Taylor John Smith, Milo Gibson

Synopsis:


"In this military thriller, based on The New York Times best-selling non-fiction book, The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor from CNN's Jake Tapper, a tiny unit of U.S. soldiers, alone at the remote Combat Outpost Keating, located deep in the valley of three mountains in Afghanistan, battles to defend against an overwhelming force of Taliban fighters in a coordinated attack. The Battle of Kamdesh, as it was known, was the bloodiest American engagement of the Afghan War in 2009 and Bravo Troop 3-61 CAV became one of the most decorated units of the 19-year conflict.

Scott Eastwood portrays Staff Sergeant Clint Romesha and Caleb Landry Jones portrays Specialist Ty Carter (who also appears in the movie), who were awarded the Medal of Honor. Orlando Bloom plays Captain Ben Keating. Director Rod Lurie, himself a former soldier and graduate of West Point, cast several other veterans of the American military in various roles, including Henry Hughes and Daniel Rodriguez."
